I grew up a Navy brat, so I like to say I'm from everywhere and nowhere. I studied graphic design at Arizona State University, where I earned a B.S. in Design, Visual Communication and a B.A. in Design Studies. I spent a decade in San Francisco before trading fog for sunshine and relocating to Los Angeles.

My career has been defined by the overlap between brand, marketing, and product — and I've come to love that intersection most. I started at Old Navy on the marketing team, moved agency-side to Swirl where I focused on digital experiences and interaction design, then went in-house at both Brandless and Hatch where I became the bridge between Brand, Marketing, and Product to bring consistency to the customer journey.

I'm currently a Senior Lead Interactive Designer at Checkr, where I own creative strategy and design direction for checkr.com. My work is focused squarely on growth: conversion optimization, A/B testing, funnel design, and building net-new product experiences that move the needle. In the time I've been at Checkr I've helped drive a +38% CVR lift on a key acquisition page, contributed to $2.45M in pipeline through a homepage redesign, and built interactive web experiences from concept through launch — partnering closely with Growth, Product Marketing, and Engineering along the way.

What I love most is getting to ask why before asking what — understanding the business problem, the user need, and the opportunity, then designing something that actually works. I'm at my best on cross-functional teams where design has a real seat at the table.

When I'm not designing, you can find me on the tennis court, hanging out with Ziggy (my 11-year-old rescue dog), or fostering and volunteering with Maeday Rescue.
